Please share your interview experiences at the embassy/consulate!! How soon could you get an appointment? Which embassy/consulate did you go? What did you bring? What questions were you asked?

hi all, this is deepthi reddy.. i got visa for Arkansas Tech. i got appointement in 2 weeks it self. i went to Hyderabad embassy. i got questions on my property, toefl score and why only this uni. i told everything that ATU has, so they gave me the visa in 2 min. It was a great moment in my life. Thanks to ATU for all your help. So excited to see u all..

Hello. It sounds great.I am also giving my visa interview in couple of weeks time.Could anyone share with me their visa interview experiences? Or could someone give me some visa interview tips, do’s and don’ts etc ?

Hi everyone. Congratulation to ones who got there visas. I myself have visa interview in few days time. I know Its tough to get pass visa interview. But could you give me good information on your experiences to the questions like:-

-why did you choose ATU? -why did you choose this degree(MSIT)? -proof of intend of study now since low grades in previous degrees. -intend to return back after course completion etc

any suggestion or answers would be very greatful.

  In case you hadn’t had your interview yet. Remember, it is an interview not a test. There are no right or wrong answers for questions like these. Just be honest and tell your story. You must have reasons to apply to Tech and MSIT program!
  
  However, intend to return back home is a tricky one. Because you never know. One may find future spouse who is American while studying in the US. All you need to do, and you can do, is to “communicate” with an officer to tell him what your future plan is, as of today, after you get your degree and come back to your home country.
